18 days...

18 days remain.  18 days of being Arizonians.  18 days of being in San Tan Valley.  We knew this day would come, and it is coming fast.  We couldn't be more excited to move to greener pastures, literally.  We have been in AZ a long time, and have for a long time felt it was time to move on, to experience something new.  New weather.  New scenery.  New people.  New sports.  New everything.  And so our journey continues on to the Lone Star State, where everything, including opportunity, is bigger.  It will be great to see the Chaves again, as we have missed hanging out with them, and we are glad that it worked out this way.  By the way, thank you both  for your help with the TX trip.  I really appreciate it.

You see, this was not an easy decision.....we struggled for weeks on it.  The alternatives to TX were NC and TN.  Now either of those would have been great for various reasons, but at zero hour, we chose TX.  Texas has everything we could want, that the others didn't, namely easy access to sporting events, but also great shopping, restaurants, and amusements parks.  The fact that we had great friends there, was also a big factor, and so here we sit, surrounded by boxes filled with our belongings, empty shelves on the walls, and constant dread over whether we can get it all in the truck.  Ugh!

There is alot to do in those 18 days.  I'm going to TX for a couple days to look for a house, we have to finish packing, reserve the truck, get everything ready to connect there and disconnect here, finish with the sale of the house, take stuff to Goodwill, meet with some friends and family.....just to name a few.  Good times.
